Industrias Agrobiológicas, S.A.- INAGROSA - was founded in 1975 by merging the ideas of a Spanish scientist and the enterprising character of an engineer and businessman, both with the formal undertaking to turn scientific ideas and concepts from classical biochemistry and the emerging science of biotechnology into products, medicines or services that benefit their users and are profitable for everybody, under the principle of "neutral technology".

We are a Spanish company, specialized in obtaining 20-L fundamental amino acids using our own, original process, through which we obtain oligopeptides and biologically active and stable amino acids that penetrate the nucleus of cells to act as extra-cellular transcription factors and with a wide spectrum of applications ranging from industrial micro-biology (fermentation) to medicine, especially in the central nervous system, and including agriculture, dietetics and cosmetics.

INAGROSA has focussed its activity on developing and manufacturing vegetable nutrition products (bio-stimulators and bio-fertilizers), correctors of deficiencies in micro-elements, biological fungicides, the cultivation of soil-selected micro-organisms and other products in development. Inagrosa has also developed and marketed dietary products for human use by granting licences to pharmaceutical laboratories.

INAGROSA has its central offices in Madrid and manufacturing facilities in Spain as well as in other countries in association with local partners.

The distribution network is established in 56 countries as well as in Spain, and another ten (Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei and Taiwan).

INAGROSA is involved in major agricultural projects using barter arrangements in countries with hard currency shortages, such as the Ukraine (more than 100,000 Ha of sugar beet) and others in Africa.

Since it was founded, the company has maintained an undertaking to preserve the environment. All of its manufactured products and those under development are therefore ecological in composition and recommended for correcting the effects of phytotoxicity and of soil pollution caused by all types of pesticides, herbicides, etc with which they can be mixed to use minimal or reduced dosages for joint application.

In line with its ecological undertaking, INAGROSA has developed a line of products (solid biomasses) for regenerating soils polluted with heavy metals or radioactive wastes and a kit of reagents for treating all types of organic wastes (from sugar factories, milk industries, urban waste water treatment plants) into biological fertilizers.

Since it was founded, the company has maintained a special interest in carrying out its own research and development as well as in collaborating with the most prestigious universities in the world.

A summary of this work since 1984 is contained in more than 150 scientific and technical reports edited on a CD-ROM that is sent to all users of our products on request. As well as these reports, the CD-ROM contains information on the company's technology and history.
